25 year-old Dutch-American Lyric Baritone Mats Roolvink is a member of the 2022-2023  International Opera Studio at the Staatstheater Nuremberg.   The 2020 Winner of the American Prize in Oratorio and Lied is equally versatile in Opera, Baroque, Lied and Oratorio,.  Mats will be making his solo opera debut as Morales in StaatsTheater Nuremberg's production of Carmen this coming March.  He recently made his opera debut in the world premiere of Turing by StaatsTheater Nuremberg.  He also  competed in Season 2 of ARIA, a Dutch  classical singing competition television program with one million viewers per episode, finishing 4th.
